About Molly & Contact

Molly grew up in California but now lives in the oh-so-amazing state of Texas with her husband and furry four-legged daughter. Some of her hobbies include hiking, snowboarding, traveling and long walks on the beach…which roughly translates to being a homebody with her hubby and dishing out movie quotes. When she’s not diving into the world of her characters, she can be found hiding out in her bedroom surrounded by her laptop, cell, Kindle and fighting over the TV remote. She has a weakness for crude-humored movies, fried pickles and loves curling up in a fluffy comforter during a thunderstorm...or under one in a bathtub if there are tornados. That way she can pretend they aren't really happening.

You can find Molly on Facebook, Twitter, via email and on Goodreads

    1. I loved this book because I loved Chase's character. I was nervous to start it because I had just finished 'beautiful disaster' and thought they were identical. Of course, I was wrong and I apologize for the comparison

I loved chase. I lived how he changed for her and his undyin attention and love for her. Yes, he had his
One te but they grew out of constantly watching his true live with another man. I thought Harper wasn't worthy of him (I hated her for not telling him immediately) and found Brandon to be a boring boyfriend (no offense).

Yes, it's a book but I was stunned and so upset by the turn of events. As a past 'fanfiction' writer and reader, I understand why you are standing your ground on not making the ending a dream-it diminishes the story. But, having said that, I think it's totally doable with the sequel, 'stealing harper'. Although I wished for a different ending, I enjoyed the book and admire your obvious writing talent. I cannot wait for chase's pov!!! One more thing, aw, not 'chase junior'???

  19. Molly.....Oh.My.Gosh!!! That is pretty much all that I can say. I want to thank you more then words can say that you brought Harper, Chase, and Brandons story to all of us! When it came to the HUGE Climatic spot in the story i could NOT stop crying. I had to set the book down and kept blowing my nose and wiping my eyes. LOL :D But seriously I was trying to keep it together to read and just was having the hardest time ever!!! I fell in love with all of the characters and felt all of there heartbreak like it was my own. I was so completely drawn in and I felt like I was in the book living it out myself. This seriously was the most amazing story I have ever read (and that's saying something when I have my own lil personal libary :) lol) So Thank You again Molly for letting my "live" in this story, it will most definitely be reread again and again!!!!

  20. Downloaded Taking Chances on a whim on my Nook and I was a little concerned about being bored when I saw the lenth ... but OH. MY. GOODNESS. I haven't cried that hard or have been so emotional attatched to fictional characters in forever (and I burn through a couple books a week). I am sooo glad I found that story & and I can't wait to read whatever you come out with next!!

  22. Okay...first of all your book BLEW MY MIND!!!! I love the twists and turns Harper takes in finding her way out of the crazy, heated, passionate love triangle she has gotten herself into. First I was totally Team Chase. He was charmingly sarcastic and super sexy. He was mysterious, yet obvious. Then I was Team Brandon with his rough, sexy voice and his masculinity. At first the whole Underground fighting wasn't cool (totally just dissed my cousin, Nicole Reed, for making a character in her newly released eBook an MMA fighter in training), but for Brandon, it completely worked. I was so connected to each character and could not put down my Kindle or my iPhone. I laughed and cried and became friends with each character as the book progressed. I found myself heated with each passionate love scene, wanting more. I fantasized about the passion that Brandon and Harper had for each other, wanting what they had in my own relationship. Your book just became my new favorite. One of the best books I've read in a while. You are a very talented writer Molly.

  24. Hi Molly ! Taking Chances is an amazing book. Had me crying for hours, I even DREAMT about the book! I felt the love between Brandon and Harper, and I felt the attraction and passion between Chase and Harper as well. You had me laughing and crying and just full of emotion as I read. I aspire to be an author just like you. You inspire me :') I hope Taking Chances is made into a movie! I'll be first in line! :D Please release the date for Stealing Harper ASAP. I CAN'T WAIT. I will be preordering it (:

I didn't want this book to end. Saga sounds good.
I can't help but think Taking Chances would make a great film too. I'm in love with the book totally.
    Thank you Molly,
    Chloe

  30. I read with great interest your idea of publishing your first book online. I, too, am a writer although not of "teen lit." How or with whom did you publish online? I'm on Kindle but would definitely like to hit more readers. Thanks for any info you can provide.

  31. I was looking for something to read and randomly chose Taking Chances, hoping it would be a decent read. Holy cow, I stayed up all night so I could finish it. My poor 4yr old can't understand why mommy needs a nap more than he does. I LOVED the book, I bawled my eyes out at several points but it was also so heartwarming!!!! Very excited to check out your other books!!!!!

  32. I absolutely adored Gage in From Ashes! But I am sad to say that I was thoroughly disappointed by the ending of Taking Chances. I loved Chase and was crushed when he died and his baby never got to meet his father. :'( But I love love looooove your writing and wanted to know if you were working on any new books that I could check out!

  34. I did not read Taking Chances but ordered and read Stealing Harper and cried like a baby. I could not believe the author would kill off the main character at such a time, only after released it was a sequel to Taking Chances so got it and tried to read it but just could not get pass the death of Chase was very disappointed that he had to died. I am sorry but will never be able to read the first book now after reading Stealing Harper to me the whole story of Harper is wasted she and Brandon do not deserve their happeness at Chase's expense when in my opinion he loved her best and she just played him from the start.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Now that you have written from both Harper and Chase's pov is there maybe a Brandon story coming???
